WFA for Scouts

Last weekend RMI taught a Basic Wilderness First Aid class for the Darrynane Scouts in Darrynane beach. There were 27 students ranging from 8 to 14 years of age.




The course ran for three hours over a Saturday and Sunday. The students learned about patient assessment, treatment of injuries and CPR. They were kept busy for the two days and at the end received RMI certification at the Basic Wilderness First Aid level.
